      There are TWO Steve Hoffman masterings of "Who's Next".

      1) Canadian Hoffman
      - Made from an analog mastering so it has an extra analog step
      - Levels are low
      - Tape hiss between songs has been crudely blacked out
      - Sounds very good, but not quite as good as the US/Japan
      - Steve Hoffman did not prepare this disc!

      2) US/Japan Hoffman
      - Went from the original master tape straight to digital with no EQ
      - Levels are hotter
      - Tape hiss between songs is intact
      - Sounds superior to the Canadian
      - This is the digital master that Steve himself prepared
