      In the spring of 1974, the Moody Blues announced their break-up. Drummer Graeme Edge immediately joined with his long-time friend, guitarist/songwriter Adrian Gruvitz, and formed The Grame Edge Band featuring Adrian Gruvitz. Gruvitz had previously be lead guitar/vocals for The Gun and the Baker-Gruvitz Army. The Grame Edge Band released it's first album, Kick Off Your Muddy Boots, in the fall of 1975.
