      The majority of the tracks on this cd are good quality solid psychedelic songs without being spectacular. As they were recorded for more established labels the sound quality is good and they reflect, to a certain degree, the major labels attempts to cash-in on the underground scene of the late 60's. You could cynically write them off as not authentic enough but they are undeniably good songs - psych with a pop sentiment. The other good thing is that this cd is an excellent sampler, giving people the opportunity to listen to the output of bands like the Electric Prunes. I have listened to many psych compilations and this is certainly one to be recommended.
