      The name "Grapefruit" was suggested to the band by John Lennon. Paul McCartney directed
      a promo film for the single Elevator. But despite this, and other help from the Fab Four,
      lasting success never came the way of the band. A second album was released in 1969 but
      by the end of the year the band had split.
