      They recorded debut EP under the name les Ambitieux in 1965. Also, in 1966, they released at least three different versions of "Tell Us Dylan" penned by the Sandals. 1st, French ver. entitled "Dis-Nous Dylan" as by 5 Gentlemen, 2nd, Italian ver. entitled "Dimmi Dylan"*1 as by 5 Gentlemen to the Italian market, and 3rd, English ver. entitled "Daytime"*2 as by Darwin's Theory to the British market. ; can be heard "Daytime" on v/a English Freakbeat vol.5, and "Dimmi Dylan" on v/a Around & Around the World.

      Features the creme de la creme from this vastly underated mid 60s french freakbeat garage punk band, with some fabulous dance-floor fillers such as "Si tu reviens chez moi" ( well known by the Mods, as it's a classic dance floor packer) or "Hosanna", and many acid punk and freakbeat stuff, complete with fuzz and sitar such as "LSD 25", Cara-lin", "Dis-moi", "Mets du sucre dans ton café" ( in english: "have some sugar with your coffee"...) etc... recommended if you're into the "Ils sont fous ces gaulois" , "Wizz" etc comps, you can't live without that one !
