Fire and Water was the 1970 breakthrough of the British blues/hard rock group, Free. As the band's third album, Fire and Water broke the Top 20. Free's brand of blues rock framed Paul Rodgers' throaty voice, and guitarist Paul Kossoff provides the perfect foil with incisive, measured solos exemplified by his contribution to "All Right Now." This is the record that took the band from club gigs to festival dates.
