Hieronymus Bosch – The Garden Of Earthly Delights Poster

This is a high resolution art print/poster of The Garden Of Earthly Delights. An incredible masterpiece. The  triptych was painted by the Early Netherlandish master Hieronymus Bosch. It has been housed in the Museo del Prado in Madrid since 1939. Dating from between 1490 and 1510, when Bosch was about 40 or 50 years old, it is his most famous and unconventional work. The three scenes of the inner triptych are probably intended to be read chronologically from left to right. The left panel depicts God presenting Eve to Adam, the central panel shows a luscious garden with a broad panorama of figures, fantastical animals, oversized fruit and hybrid stone formations. The right panel is a hellscape and portrays the torments of damnation. This painting was probably made for the private enjoyment of a noble family.
