Personnel incl: JOHNIMA P. BAHLU A
ALBUMS: 1 WARNING (Beverly Hills BHS-1 135) 1973 2 GOD IS LOVE (Beverley Hills BHS-1136) 197?
The label suggests that this was possibly a Los Angeles band. The five piece (three lads and two lasses) was led by Johnima, who takes all the credits on the first album - the others don't get a jot. An early seventies 'beautiful people' act, Warning is soft hippie rock. Hanana, is probably the only 'psychedelic' track on the album. The unheard second LP sounds even less encouraging.
One of the girls is possibly Kali Bahlu (Johnima's Wife? Sister?) who, in her persona of 'Gypsy Star Child', released an LP entitled Kali Bahlu Takes The Forest Children On A Journey Of Cosmic Rememberance (World Pacific WPS- 21875) which says it all!
Compilation appearances include: Hanana on Lycergic Soap (LP), Turds On A Bum Ride Vol. 1 & 2 (Dble CD) and Turds On A Bum Ride, Vol. 1 (Dble LP).
