Beau - Beau (1969)
The Dandelion Label was Formed by Radio One DJ John Peel with his Manager Clive Selwood in 1969 in an Attempt by Both Founders to Put Something Back Into the Business They Loved. The Object was to Bring Deserving but Hitherto Unrecognized Talents to the Public's Attention on a Non-profit Basis. As Clive's Day Job was European Representative of Elektra Records, It's Not Surprising that "Dandy" (As it was Known) Specialized in Procuring Singer/Songwriters. Beau (Aka Trevor Midgley) Had the Honour of the First Release on the Label in 1969 with the Single "1917 Revolution". Later that Year, Dandelion Released the Self-titled Full LP, "Beau". This CD Edition features the Full Album Augmented with Nine Additional Tracks, Showcasing the Distinctive Style of One of the Finest 12-string Guitar Players to Emerge in the 1960's.
